Dr. Julia Kohler is a native New Yorker who grew up in the Hudson Valley and is passionate about providing personalized, high-quality orthodontic care. She enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles through customized treatment plans and the latest orthodontic techniques.
Dr. Kohler earned her undergraduate degree from Manhattanville College before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. During dental school, she participated in orthodontic and oral cancer research, served on the NYU College of Dentistry Peer Review Board, and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in recognition of her academic excellence, professionalism, and ethical leadership.
She continued her training with a hospital-based General Practice Residency at Westchester Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in emergency care, operating room procedures, and anesthesia. She then completed an Oral Oncology Fellowship at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center before earning her certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Nova Southeastern University.
Outside the office, Dr. Kohler enjoys attending concerts and live performances, visiting museums, and cheering on her favorite teams, the New York Rangers and New York Giants.
